Superfamily-Texts Blog FAQ
- How do you make these?
I text myself the only time I ever receive texts, delete the doubles, take screen-caps, and then email them to my computer.
Yes I use my own phone.
No I do not use a fake text-messaging site, nor do I want to.
- Can I make a request?
Sure! All requests are appreciated and welcome!

However, if I’m dealing with too many at a time, I may temporarily close down the request box.
- How can I make a request?
The ask box doubles as the request box, and is labeled as so. Though not mandatory, I appreciate specifics!
- What are you guidelines for requests?
Though I may not agree on a certain ship or headcanon you want me to portray, I will still, most likely, be willing to create one for you. If it gets too crazy we may need to sit down and have a chat.
Also, in case you haven’t noticed, I’m sticking to the theme of all messages being sent by either Steve, Tony, or Peter.

It is “Superfamily Texts” after all! So although you may say “Please write Natasha/Banner”, it probably won’t be an actual conversation between Natasha and Banner.
Ergo, please don’t ask for ‘Wade texting Loki’ or ‘Bruce texting Clint’, etc.
I’m willing to write (most) any ship, though I must admit, I’d prefer what is canon (asides from Steve/Tony, obviously). I will probably imply a canon pairing if the context calls for it unless you specify otherwise.
(e.g. If you say “Peter has a girlfriend” I may choose to make it Gwen. However, I’m totally fine with you specifying “Peter has a girlfriend [not named] and is telling Tony…” or “Peter is dating a girl [not Mary Jane or Gwen]”, etc.)
I’m also happy to include any of the other avengers as aunt/uncles/babysitters.
Prompts can be anywhere from serious or humorous! And don’t be shy! Just be willing to give me enough time to finish them!
P.S. NOTE THAT THIS IS SUPERFAMILY TEXTS.
Superfamily
super family |ˈsoōpər ˈfam(ə)lē|
noun
- Steven Rogers and Anthony Edward Stark are married and Peter Parker is their adopted son.
I will not hesitate to make fun of you if you misunderstand this blatantly simple concept.
- Can I RP with you?
Absolutely! Regard the last bullet point.
- Is this your main tumblr?
Nope.
- Tony Stark would have a super cool Stark Industries phone instead of a boring mundane Verizon iPhone.
- You’re getting the ages of the characters wrong/What time period are the texts set in?
Okay, well, I didn’t know what ‘time’ to set these texts in. It couldn’t be what’s technically present movie!verse wise, because that would mean Peter was born and grew up while Steve was still frozen. So I’d imagine these texts take place in the not-too-distant future.
- I sent you a request/question last week and you still haven’t finished/answered it? What’s up?
Surprisingly, I’ve actually gotten a good number of requests. I know, I’m shocked too. For each one, I have to think of the dialogue and situation. Not to mention the time it takes me to make and post them. Also, I like to do them in order, so if I get stumped on one, it causes a bottleneck effect. I know that probably isn’t the most sufficient way to go about it, but if I ignore something in my askbox for too long, I begin refusing to accept it’s existence.
TLDR; I will eventually get to everything. I promise. Patience is a virtue!
- Do you tag your asks? Because I’m getting sick of seeing you post so many questions.
I tag all my asks with “Superfamily Texts Answers”, and I would not be offended at all if you chose to blacklist it. I understand that you follow me for the texts, not asks, and I completely respect that.
NOTE: I will always respond to things in my inbox that aren’t anonymous. However, if it isn’t a question, I may not always reply to Anons. I do, however, read everything. And though I appreciate all compliments greatly, It’d be overwhelming to publish every single Anon message that isn’t a request.
As touched as I am by your messages, I would hate to be cluttering the dashboards of those following me by publishing my replies to every message I receive!
Thank you for understanding.
